Hey all. I moved recently, and somehow during the move, the movers bent the lid prop on the old VTLA. Pictured is what I need...but without out the bend of course.

That's no so bad. Why don't you just straighten what you have??

I've thought about it, but my concern is that these early guys are so thin, that once compromised, it will never stay perfectly straight.

I'd sure try to straighten it first.

It doesn't look too bent, I bet it hasn't plastified. A careful reshaping should work fine... It doesn't look as having lost its strength!

It'll be fine. Just carefully bend it back straight.
