ROTFLMAO...Sexpistols never sounded so good ♫♪ no future no future ♫♪
Interesting idea, but boy oh boy that thing needs a speed governor. An acoustic sound system would certainly make it more usable too. I dont see much point in a steam powered turntable when you still need electricity for reproduction. Still, it's a neat little project and looks way cool

It was really enjoyable for me to see someone with the creativity and ability to do it just because they could. I think more stages in the reduction drive would help a lot. Single stage drive seems a bit too limiting. Also, perhaps a mechanical phono type governor to regulate the speed rather than trying to directly regulate the engine. Altogether an A+ for this project.

That's a very novel concept. I don't like the choice of music, but it was interesting, anyway. Towards the end, the machine ran out of steam.

Very cool- there's actually no point to it at all except "look what I did!" It's rather Steampunk and there's a glorious absurdity to it.

Indeed Shane. This one looks like and is a horn Gramophone. The horn looks like it was from a whiskey still

. Note the no smoking sign......

.It says it was in Denmark. A real shame that it is so short. The man seems to be reaching for the fuel line going to a propane tank??.
