J Repeater return attachment

I have come by an Edison Home phonograph that has a "J Repeater" on it. I see one listed in the Hummel Collection in one of Fabrizio's books listed as a "return attachment". It looks like mine is missing the "string" and maybe other pieces.
Does anyone have any info they could share with me that would show how this is supposed to work so I can hopefully get it functional again?
Thanks, Richard

I sense an offer is being proffered.

Oh. I thought the gentleman was asking for advise on how his repeater worked, not an "offer being proffered".

Hey Richard,
Congraulations and an interesting coincidence. You can look at my current listing for two orignal parts for a Home J Repeater on EBAY. I show two pictures of a complete J set up on a Home.
