I don't know much about cylinders, but the price of $20 CDN (about $16 US) does seem reasonable in comparison to other listings I have seen.

Interesting. Did you contact the seller?
The ad is not very clear. It
suggests $20 for the lot.
If they are $20 CDN ($16 US) each, they are not going to move quickly, if at all, in the local market here, unless, of course, there are enough
diamonds in the mine to make the purchase of the whole mine worthwhile. $4K+ CDN ($3.2K US) is a lot for anyone but a really hardcore collector to plunk down, and there wouldn't be a lot of gravy money room for a dealer unless there are a large number of Hope Diamonds present. When I worked in a friend's used record shop years ago, the standard for the purchase of records for stock was 50% of what they would go out in the bins for for records we knew would sell quickly, less, often a lot less, for things that would sit in stock for some time. I see smaller lots of more modestly priced cylinders (way less than $20 CDN each) sit on Craigslist here forever.

I agree that the ad is not well worded, and at face value it implies that the price is $20 for the lot.
If the cylinders are actually $20 each, that fact should have been made clear.
I see a Royal Purple box in the first picture. It might be the only one worth $20, but who knows?

Maybe it was $20 for the lot?
