A-277 Mandalay Two-Step (1900)?

Hi,
We are doing some research on an early 7" disc entitled, "Mandalay Two-Step" by the Metropolitan Orchestra.
Fagan & Moran (in their pre-Matrix Vol I) claim that this item was (first) recorded for (Johnson's) Consolidated Talking Machine Co on Dec 1, 1900, as A-277. It was also made by Berliner in early 1900, but the info is needed for the Consolidated version (Fall of 1900).
Somehow, I think that this selection was also recorded (earlier) for Consolidated in late Sep of 1900. If anyone can confirm that previous recording session (also by the Metropolitan Orch), there is a handsome reward (in merch) waiting for you!
Ideally, you might have the record itself, or some other kind of equivalent evidence. That knowledge would be very helpful...
Thanks.
Allen
