Hello!
I'm hoping someone might have a pair of the special hinges used on the VV-XVII Victrolas. Pictured below is the right-hand set that I already have.
I'm guessing these are swappable between sides; maybe someone can correct me if I'm wrong!
Please PM me if you can help. Thank you!
Bob

Bob,

These special hidden hinges were available in gold, nickel and plain finishes. The large and the small doors on a given side (LH or RH) used the same hinges but they were specific based on whether the hinge was located at top of the door or the bottom of the door. The top door hinges of the large and small doors were visible so they received either a gold or nickel plate, the lower door hinges of both the large and small doors were hidden so they had a plain finish.

If you aren’t particular about matching the finish you could use a plain finish lower hinge from the right door in the upper hinge position on the left door and vice-versa.

If finish is not an issue you could expand your search to include the VV-80, 90, 100, 110 and 130.

Hopefully someone on the board has a junk cabinet or something in their parts bins.

Mark
