Folks,

I have great news!! I am publishing all episodes of two of my phonograph series in a video format.

The first series is "I Saw It in the Catalog." In this series I present phonograph items alongside the period catalog images where those items were advertised.

The second series is "I Never Saw It in the Catalog." In this series I present phonograph items that have yet to be found in period catalogs.

Both of these series will be published on my channel, starting at the beginning, and continuing through all current and future issues. Most exciting, ALL episodes of this series will now be available to the broader phonograph community!!! I plan to publish at least one episode from either of these video series each month.

Great video. I have a Columbia Number one cabinet for 75 cylinders just like in the video. I have a question. Does anyone know who made these cabinets or did Columbia make them. I always thought they were made by Hawthorne and Sheble as well.

You are correct - Hawthorne & Sheble made these cabinets. H&S and Columbia had a long-standing relationship that lasted until the former went out of business.
