Sorry Jerry, I didn't express my-self very well.

I just mean't that it is not real crocodile skin. It is a genuine gramophone. Perhaps I should have used the word 'faux'. I have tried changing the thread title - but it still seems very clumsy !

I have read on the forum that there are very few 'Dark Blue' HMV 101 models - they were soon altered to a lighter blue colour. Therefore I wonder which one this is ?
