There's no way it could work nice enough to warrant the price.

What's customized about it ?
There's so much finish goobered on it, the grain pattern doesn't even show.
Looks like someone tried to make it look like mahogany with some sort of coloured finish.

Big deal, it has a nickel plated back bracket and concert reproducer.

Lousy horn repaint and refinish? For $3,500?

The screws at the lid lock seem too new....
