Here's a super nice Victor II "Humpback" I'm offering for sale
Original nickeling, all original parts except horn retainer bracket screw.
Cabinet was refinished before my ownership. Looks correct with low sheen- not the usual high gloss amateur job. Graining is vivid. The cabinet looks a bit "washed out" in the photos but it's a lighting/camera anomaly. Coloring looks right in person.

An original Victor 22 flower horn is added; I de- rusted it, painted it, striped it, and added the decal. Still minor bumps/ bends but looks great.

The "Exhibition" reproducer was just serviced and tuned by our very own "Mica Monster" himself. I usually like to include a Victrola No. 4 for playing electrical records, but this machine doesn't need it. I never thought an Exhibition could sound this good! (Thanks Wyatt!)

It includes a "Vicsonia" reproducer for playing Diamond Discs on Victor machines. I upgraded it with a Victrola 4 diaphragm and a new stylus. It is just slightly low on volume, but the fidelity is just great.

I serviced the motor and installed new governor springs. It is extremely quiet for an early Victor and easily powers through a 12" record or a Diamond Disc with spring power to spare. Speed is dead on even with no variation. No bumps and NO thumps. As is to be expected with this spring design, if the spring is allowed to wind all the way down it CAN become unhooked from the drive rod nub. This has happened a few times to me, but I was always able to re- hook it by winding the crank while manually spinning the turntable backwards. Sometime it takes 30 seconds or so but it will catch again. Just don't let it wind down all the way and you'll be fine.

All the nickel has just been polished with AutoSol- that's it. Turntable felt is in good condition for a 113+ year old machine. Back bracket stenciling is above average but the finish on the bracket is alligatoring a bit. It didn't bother me enough to redo it.

I performed a "brake job".

I am also hoping to post some videos of the machine in action soon- may not be till the weekend.

$1650 INCLUDES careful packing and shipping in the continental USA. Other locations please inquire.
PayPal "FRIENDS AND FAMILY" or your good check accepted. Offers considered. Satisfaction guaranteed. First to say "SOLD!" gets it.

Offers? Let's talk. you will not be disappointed in this machine. Jerry B can likely bring to the Midwest or California show, too, if you ask him nicely and compliment him on his gourd- a- horns. Maybe you can get one for your new Victor II Humpback, even! :D
