The ERI on BBC

BBC Weekend today featured the Early Recordings Initiative, including enlightening interviews with collector John Levin and UCSB archivist David Seubert. This is an incredibly exciting new initiative to preserve early recordings and make them readily available to the general public in digital transcriptions. (Keep an eye open for the upcoming June issue of The Antique Phonograph journal for more about the ERI.)
