What would be the highest serial number when Edison stopped using the winding crank with the National Phonograph Co. name plate/badge on the Suitcase Home’s? Here’s the one I’m referring to. Many thanks!

I’m wondering this too FellowCollector’s video on his 1898 homes has this crank on a machine made in March 1898 but his machine made in May does not. I’m looking at an April 1898 machine too which also does not have that badged crank either.

There were quite a few reproductions of this crank made by wyatts in California he would sell them complete or just the metal badge to make your own.

Does anyone know if there is any overstock of those reproduction cracks? I have a January 1898 brass-mandrel Home with an inappropriate crank. I despair of finding an original example of the crank, so a reproduction would be second-best.
