FOR SALE: Early Edison 2-CLIP Suitcase Standard Phonograph w/4-DIGIT Serial # - $400

This is an early production Edison 2-clip Suitcase Standard Phonograph with serial #6201. The bottom base board is missing. This does not include a reproducer, horn or crank. All of which are fairly easy to find. The original oak cabinet finish is pretty decent. This has the incredibly common split in the lid top. I can't tell you how many Edison suitcase Standard Phonographs I have seen over many years with a split in the top of the lid. I'd be willing to bet that at least 80% of them have a split in the lid top. The lid is very sturdy and the 2 clips hold the cabinet together nice and snug. There's a couple of really ancient glue drips on one side of the lid.
