I promised myself I would not buy another radio, but this one
has quite a nice cabinet. Its missing tubes although it has not
been completely gutted according to the seller. The owner said
its an RCA Victrola radio, which I gather means Radiola. Can't
seem to find any info on this particular model. If some of the
radio guys can help out with identification or other info I would
really appreciate it. Thanks!

Does it have (or did it have) a lift up lid and turntable, otherwise it wouldn't be an "anything Victrola".
Do you know if it is a Radiola chassis & perhaps the model number of the chassis?
If not, maybe a photo of what's left of the chassis could help identify it.
I think when Radiola supplied chassis' to other companies, they were mostly better know names like Victrola & Brunswick, but not to just any Tom Dick & Harry, so if it's got a Radiola chassis it shouldn't be too hard to identify the actual radio brand & model it was sold under.
The cabinet does look similar to some of the RCA-Radiola & Radiola cabinets from 1930- but then again didn't they all lol.
And I also think it's a very nice cabinet.

Don't know too much about the RCA Radiola line, but over the summer I bought a 1930 Radiola 82 from a guy at work for $100. It is AM only, & works fine(though I know the capacitors need to be replaced). I don't use it often, & won't til after the caps are replaced. I am missing the glass dial cover, otherwise it's complete. Does anyone know if these radios came with backs when new? Mine didn't. My cabinet style is different from yours but the legs & cross-board look very similar. I found an ad online that shows my model, & it mentions a model 80-possibly yours? My 82 has a few more knobs that yours would have. It has a tone control-maybe yours did not? Sorry not to be more help.

This one is a straight radio according to the seller. Being that the radio knobs are missing
as well as some tubes, its probably not worth completing. Its hard to say for sure how bad
or good it is unless I check it out in person however. If I can get the chance to check it
out I will get some more pics and info. Thanks Shane!

Thanks for the helpful pics Dennman6! I do notice some similarities in cabinet design.
I hope to check it out soon but it may have to wait until after the Christmas rush.

That radio has a similar style of the 1931 RCA RAE-26.

Thanks for the pic tomwil! I have been running around like crazy and its kind of far
from my house so I have not checked it out in person yet. I am hoping to visit a friend in north county next week so it would be a good time to check it out. I will definitely report back when I find more out.

Here is a RCA 1931 Christmas ad, which seems to show the radio at the far left. However, I could not make out the model number.

Looks like a model 8-33 in the ad.
