I have had two folks tell me that someone published a book on all the various Victor Motors.

First, is this true? I am unable to find any references to one existing.

Secondly, if so, anyone have a copy they are willing to part with :)

Harold Braker of Canada wrote and published the Victor Motor Guide. I shared it, with Harold’s permission, on this board about 12 years or so ago. Search the TMF for ‘Victor Motor Guide’ snd you’ll find it. The Antique Phonograph Society was similarly inspired a couple of years ago and it’s also on their webpage but you have to be in the club to access it.

Thank you. I was able to locate your original posts but the links to the pdfs are no longer active.

If you still have the pdfs can you please email me at [email protected].

I was able to find it reproduced on APS site but prefer a pdf

As a work-around, have you tried saving the page as a PDF file? With most browsers--Chrome, Firefox, Edge--you simply click on Print, where you'll see a provision to save the page as a PDF file, instead of printing it.

I found a copy from another member. Thanks for your help.

I am creating a ‘vault’ of original parts, this includes complete motors for manufactures. I plan on documenting to the nth degree. I wanted to catalog the great work that came before me. I will use this to make replica parts and pass along to the next guy.
