SOLD: Wood reproducer for Columbia and Victor

This is a very unusual reproducer. It has a large wood body and a nickel bezel. It is called the "Nighteingale" and is made by the Harmonia Mfg Co. in Wilmington Delaware. I have never seen one of these before. it is about 2 ¾" in diameter and 1" thick. The reproducer looks like it was originally made to play on Columbia phonographs and it easily goes on a Columbia tonearm and turns to snap into the playing position. Someone has made a clever adapter to let it also fit a Victor tonearm. It is in excellent condition and looks new. There is no damage and the wood body looks great. I compared it to both a Columbia and Victor reproducer on their respective machines. It was not too heavy for the machines. To my ear, it had a more mellow tone than either the Columbia or Victor reproducers. I have replaced the rubber gasket and it is nice and tight. As I said before, I believe it is pretty rare.
The pictures show the reproducer itself as well as the reproducer on Columbia and Victor tonearms. Note that the reproducer stops in the correct angle for playing records.
I am asking $80 for the reproducer + whatever the shipping is from Maryland.
PLEASE CONTACT ME AT [email protected] AND DO NOT USE PM TO CONTACT ME if interested.
