Available for consideration, fairly early serial number MS 2657. Poor nickel finish on the support arm and mounting bolts. Original leather elbow still holding up well but fragile. Horn is in good condition with no issues other than it has been repainted at some point but do believe that it is an original Victor horn. Bell diameter is 11.5 inches and the total length is 19.50 inches. Motor runs well and has the usual noise. No reproduction parts. Case finish is original with some flacking of the finish on the support arm panel with the exception of the motor board. Motor board has nice graining but looks to have been re finished. Running a hand across the motor board one can feel a dip in the wood surface indicating perhaps a gouge had been sanded out? Area is well under the turntable, needs to be noted, never was a bother to me and is in otherwise nice condition with attractive wood graining. Record hold down is an original Victor hold down but has the knurl style that would be correct for a latter machine. Hold down was re nickel plated about twenty years ago and the original felt was retained. This MS comes with the two lid support bracket arrangement neither of which have a notch to support against the wood screw.
