For Sale: Edisonic Beethoven
Posted: Sun Aug 28, 2022 12:00 pm
Functional, unrestored 1927 Edisonic Beethoven phonograph. Minor external scratches from 95 years in homes but, otherwise in good condition.
I am the second owner. I'm told that the unit is unique because it has both a standard and a long play needle with what appears to be a factory installed mount for them in the turntable compartment.
Includes a full page newspaper ad from the November 1927 Morning Oregonian, an instruction tag for removing the Beethoven grille, an advertising booklet marking the 50th anniversary of the phonograph and featuring the Beethoven and Schubert model phonographs, several color record advertising flyers, a record availability book, and several records with sleeves.
Purchaser will be responsible for pick up and transport. Approximate weight: 200 lbs
