Regina Info?

Perhaps slightly off topic, but still mechanical music, and I figure like me, there would be some overlap in interest. I have always wanted a Regina, and managed to pick one up at a reasonable price at a local auction. Besides the fact that it's a single comb Regina, that plays 15.5 inch disks I know nothing about these guys. Any good sources for info or reference material out there? Is there a way to date the machines? Thanks all.

This appears to be a Regina Style 13. A good source of information is Q. David Bower's "Encyclopedia of Disk Music Boxes". You can obtain a Certificate of Origin from the Musical Box Society,
www.mbsi.org , but you may need to join the organization to do so.
Nancy Fratti sells reproduction lid pictures:

Lastly, in a shameless self-promotion, I sell new disks for Regina music boxes:

Thank you Raphael. I knew I could rely on "the team" to get a start.
BTW...could you send me your prices for your disks? Thanks

I have them listed on eBay:

If you buy them directly from me, shipping is free and you save the sales tax as well.
Please contact me by direct email if you wish to purchase:

No, she doesn’t live in Wisconsin and doesn’t use eBay. That’s somebody else.

You do not need to join MBSI to obtain a certificate. They charge $5 to look up your serial number in the original Regina factory records and will send you a certificate showing when it was made and who it was originally sold to....pretty cool info to have.

Just order my certificate. Kinda excited to find out the details! Thanks all.
And for the record...holy cow, these things are heavy. I threw my back out carrying this into the house. Much heavier than it looks (compared to a similarly sized phonograph).
