Congratulations to everyone who killed themselves to get the great new APS website off the ground. It rocks! Way to go, folks! Yes, it took a while to hatch, but the look and feel and depth of the site speak for themselves. The result was certainly worth the effort.

A huge "Thank You!" for a stellar job to the many volunteers who, I'm certain, expended hundreds - if not thousands - of man-hours developing and implementing the new website! It really is wonderful, and I hope many new members will be compelled to join the Antique Phonograph Society to see what we're all about.
Congratulations to the board, contributing volunteers, and "we" the APS membership! Outstanding!
Cheers,
Fran

Great job to the APS team for their time and effort into updating the site and for all their hours of contribution for the love of the hobby and bringing such valuable information within reach of anyone who wants to learn about these wonderful treasures we call Phonographs and Gramophones.
I can thank you all enough.

I know Rod Pickett deserves a tremendous amount of credit in helping shepherd this herculean task to fruition. Thank you very much Rod.

I have noticed that the formerly free-for anyone-to-view and very helpful article especially for new collectors, "Spotters Guide To The Edison Standard Phonograph" by Martin Kauper (and I suspect other formerly free-to-view articles?) is now only available to paid APS members. While I completely understand the desire to add paid subscribers to APS I believe that locking up articles for view by paid subscribers only that might have otherwise encouraged some non-subscribers to join may not be helpful for membership growth. If I'm completely wrong in my observation I sincerely apologize since I've only just this morning visited the new APS site and tried to poke around for any free-to-view articles. I'm not currently a member of APS (I used to be and am considering joining again) but I do appreciate everything about APS.
