It's a Columbia Grafonola, one of the 'Symphony'-like models.

It's one of their client machines, would have been sold with someone else's name on it, so it has a grille instead of the louvers. OK price for someone who happens to have the parts.

Ah ok, that explains the non-louver type grille I was wondering about. I agree, it would be worthwhile if for example, I had a spare Columbia tonearm. The case would clean up nicely I think. I am pretty dedicated to my Gem project however, so I have to
avoid the temptation.
