Touch up A250 bed plate

Has anyone figured out how to touch up the paint on a Edison diamond disk bed plate? I would not strip off the entire plate, but finding the right paint is difficult.

Depends what you mean by successful. I once met a guy who "successfully" painted a victor machine black and then used polyurethane on top of that. He thought the value went up after he did that and was crushed to learn the opposite

As you say, it all comes down to color matching, and aslo a very steady hand. Consult your local artists I'd say.

It’s not paint, it’s tinted shellac.
