Replacing felt on VV-XI turntable

I bought a new felt from Walt, and the installation instructions say "Ensure that the good side is up".
Both sides look the same to me. Which is the "good side"?

Maybe it means "your good side." Like, don't try it first thing in the morning.

I turned 74 on Thursday. I don't have a good side anymore.
