"... crank does not work but the rest of the unit is georgios[sic]." Indeed. Something bad has been done to the finish. I had to look two or three times to confirm that it's oak, and not some kind of weird mahogany. Still, for $20, how could you go wrong?

It's the same vintage as my XI, c. 1917, judging by the cabinet configuration.

At that price I'm surprised it's not well on its way to becoming a wine rack by now.
