I read an old thread on the forum in which someone mentioned that 'most' (but not all) HMV 100, 101 and 102 Indian Teak gramophones have numbers / letters etc stamped onto the wooden motor boards.
Is this correct I wonder ? So some may have no stamp marks at all ?

Very interesting information about records.
I am still wondering about the India teak motor boards though.
