Looks like a 1928 Electrola Radiola 9-16 in great shape is for sale
It also looks like it has all of its albums in good shape as well.

Twenty five years ago when I was looking for one of these they were rare. Now they pop up all the time. It is a very nice machine.

Bronson, thanks for posting this. Jeff, agreed, A very nice example!
It would be curious to see the data plate on the rear by the power cord socket. Much of Ontario was on a 25Hz power system at the time that this 9-16 was sold. I once owned a Victor 10-51 Automatic that had 25Hz equipment, the Type 3 induction disc motor as used on the automatics had special coils, the RPA has a 25Hz power transformer.
According to this article three frequencies, 25, 60 and 60-⅔ Hz, were used in Ontario. The change-over to 60Hz did not happen until the 1950’s and required much effort to change millions of motors, refrigerators, furnace blowers, etc. The 25Hz power was available for some industrial customers until 2007.
