Folks,
I have a couple of these lamps hung in my phonograph room with reproduction period bulbs. Wow do they add character.
This is an original portable lamp from January 29, 1895. I've attached the patent for the lamp.
It is all original, except the new, period looking wire. Even the plug is an original. Great lamp that works very well. This one is special as it has the patent date stamped on the hanger - most of these do not.
These portable lamps are pretty hard to find. I've not seen one available for almost a year now.
Time for me to let one go to someone else.
