Was drowsing through the e-bay listings and came across this.... looks pretty unusual.
(Won't go so far as to call it "attractive", but definitely unusual...)
Perhaps Edison's answer to Victor's "hump-back" ?

I kind of like the style myself. The electric winder is cool too.

This is an Edison Art cased model. The Edison Art cased models are very rare. It's for the very special collector who likes rare machines.

It is very rare, one of those things I'd pick up if cash and space were not issues.
It's been offered on eBAY for many months though already with no takers.

Cheney also sold a very similar Sheraton case- I have one and it's quite handsome, but huge.

I'll never understand sellers that don't seem to provide their location, especially when local pick-up is preferred... or am I just missing it somewhere in the listing?

I agree, it is frustrating when not clearly listed, especially for a large piece of furniture like this. In the "ask a question" section, i clicked the "shipping" menu, which says...
Where do you ship from?
This item ships from SW Pa., United States.

Meh. At that price I'll buy a fully restored Chippendale Diamond Disc, and pocket the rest.
