Amsterdam collection from 1963

I came across this interesting Pathé film on YouTube showing a talking machine collection from 1963 in Amsterdam.
I'm not sure if it's been shared before, but it shows a variety of machines may of us will probably never have the opportunity to see and hear in person.
I think my favourite is the Lioret phonograph of French manufacture.
Bit of a shame the record appears to be scratched (although possibly the repeating was caused by moving the machine).

I can't help but wonder where the machines in this fantastic collection are now.

Fascinating. That was very well photographed and edited.

I have seen a small part of this in an old documentary on Edison. About halfway through I recognize the tune, Oh How I love That Girl!". Thanks for posting. :D

Thanks for sharing this video. I have to wonder where any of these machines are today. There were some very interesting models.

After watching that clip this morning, Youtube's algorithm suggested another one from 1964: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6zRXgPX ... Path%C3%A9

Thanks Rene. This collection was in Belgium apparently.
I had to laugh at the first Edison phonograph playing a 4 min cylinder on a machine set up to play 2 min records.
And yet another Lioret too.
No wonder they don't seem to turn up today. They were all collected back in the 60's lol.
Thanks for posting the link.
