I'm guessing that was meant to be a plant stand. Leaving aside that it destroyed three Edison records, not the best choice of material, considering their sensitivity to water. Other than that, I'll hope they were three junkers with groove damage. That one in the middle looks as if it may have some cut grooves, but there's no telling for sure from the photo.

Awful. Even three Edison records of "I'll Take You Home Kathleen" doesn't make that needing to exist.

I just hope this was done between the 1930s and 1980s and not recently or with any really desirable title.

I suppose you could do one of these using records that were cracked on one side, or unplayable for some reason, but it really does look like a waste of decent discs--not to mention it's a ridiculously small table.
