Hey, you could go there on the "final day" and see if it is still there and they want to drop the price even lower.... may get a bargain, you never know....

I was thinking about it. But where would I put it in my apartment . Plus that would mean one more piece of furniture to lug around when it's time to move

You can always use it as dining room table, then remove the tablecloth and play records....!!

So I called and asked about the Hampton. $900 on the first day, is $700 today and will be half price tomorrow. If it doesn’t sell tomorrow, I will inquire about it. I personally don’t think it’s worth that much…. But maybe I’m wrong?

Why, David, I thought you had run out of room. $350 would not be bad but I would say go for $200 or so. I paid $40 for my little 15-8 console, brought it home on the roof of the car, and I thought that was about a nice price.

Try to save some dough on these and I'm really not sure where I would park a thing the size of a Hampton either--Good luck.

I agree with your approach about seeing if it sells and then circle back after that. Let fate take its course....

However, if you read my other post right now, you can see I have no willpower and continue to acquire machines at bargain prices. It has to end eventually... It has to or I am going to have to open a museum or something... Just a little humor, it isn't that bad...

I really don’t have any interest in it….. but as I have learned in this hobby. It never hurts to ask. The Hampton is the last large Brunswick I need to complete the large floor model collection. I’ve got the Cortez, Pr138-C and Pr-148C.

I really don’t have a place for it, and doubt it’ll sound better than the Cortez. I have the rest of my life to find another anyways. Chances are I will NOT be getting it.

Sounds like a smart conclusion David.

Not so much a message to you, but more for anyone else interested. Estate sale companies are hired to SELL. They eventually will sell this and will have to do so for the price offered. Charles advice to offer $200 is good. I wouldn't pay any more than that, unless I had a goal to own a Hampton. It may sound nice, and be in good condition, but it's a space hog and not overly appealing in design, (in my opinion of course).
