Nice tune, and awesome transfer. I wish I had the equiptment and talent to do digital transfers like this.

Thanks, I'm glad you like the transfer.
I enjoyed the videos of the very late cylinder releases. I'm unclear in knowing if the recordings, done electrically to discs, were dubbed electrically or acoustically to cylinders. Does anyone know for sure?

Ron Dethlefson responded to this question some time ago. He says that acoustical dubs of electric DDs started around BA #5400. Electrical dubs of electric DDs started with BA #5650 and by #5700 they were all electrical dubs. There were only a few such numbers above 5700, and many of those were allocated numbers but never released, per the "Edison Blue Amberol" booklets by Sydney H. Carter. "Weary River" (by organist John Gart) was the only BA dubbed from a needle-cut Edison lateral record. However, it was not allocated a catalog number and was never released, according to Carter.
