Could someone with a 8-8 Schoolhouse please post pictures of it? I picked one up at an auction and want to see what type of knobs the doors have along with the motorboard pull. Plus, I'd like to see what the bar on the back looks like, since this one had been broken off, so they screwed a piece of wood to the back and mounted one to it and I'm not sure if its original or just something that fits. Thank you!

I believe that bar/handle is the original one.

Thanks Jerry, It looks like something came down on the bar and ripped it out of the back, so that's why they did the 'repair'.

Here are photos of my school model. It's one of my most favorite machines and one that I play for my guests telling them that the Orthophonic machines made all previous talking machine obsolete overnight. When my son was in high school I suggested he take it to school along with some good dance records and have a dance. He looked at me like I was from another planet and that was the dumbest suggestion he had ever heard.
