Gimmick-y Waddell Upright for sale

This is the "sister/brother" of the table model I have listed in a different thread.
Cabinet is in good condition, but not perfect. Finish is alligatored, slice of veneer missing from top, top record rack missing. BUT, see the pics - it's NOT bad.
Original velour on the turntable - plays great. Reproducer has been rebuilt/tuned - sounds quite good. Reproducer swivels to allow for playing verticals and laterals.
The GIMMICK: Lift the lid, get the record going; when you put the lid down, the faux doors lift up out of the way and expose the horn. Interesting way of getting around Victor's patent, I suppose.
