Picked up a 405 Electrola a while back and am in need of some advice from anyone willing to share. The motor is there but all of the other internals as far as electronics go are completely gone, minus the light socket under the lid. I'm not at all sure what voltage these motors run on. It's not the universal style motor. I just need to know if anyone has any clue on what the circuitry that is missing should look like so I can possibly recreate it somehow. Obviously it didn't run on full 110 line voltage. There had to be something to drop the line voltage.

If it's the induction disc motor, it ran on 110V. The universal motor ran on 32V.

That is the universal motor. There should be a resistor or two on the inside of the cabinet near the horn area that's how it works for these later electrics. I am also searching for a resistor as well. I'd recommend talking to Chuck Azzalina. He's pretty knowledgeable about this stuff, he's Chuck A on the forum here.
Good luck,

Yes, you have the Victor 32 volt universal AC/DC motor. I don’t see the governor rod and friction leather in your photo, do you need that as well?
I posted the full Victor service instructions in the Forum archives section. It has all the information you’ll need to restore your machine.

No. I have all that stuff. Just removed it all to avoid damage when I dropped to motor. I stand corrected. I always assumed the universal motor looked a certain way but I was wrong. I appreciate it fellas.
