Edison Triumph Repeater

Everyone,
Is this a correct repeater for an Edison Triumph? I am looking for one, although it seems they are expensive for a Triumph. Does this look appropriate? My current Triumph is both 2 and 4 minutes. Will this repeater accommodate both? I’ve got one for an Edison Home, but the motor it too weak for the repeater to pick up when the horn is one (runs fine when the horn is off). All advice much appreciated!

Yes, the repeater listed is for a Triumph. No, it will not fit on a Home (parts of it would). The arm where it attaches to the carriage is different. I dont believe the D repeater was even designed to lift the weight of a non crane supported horn.
Attached are pics of both designs.

I’ve got a model D on my Home. I added a cygnet horn and the repeater still won’t pickup due to the weight of the horn. It’s driving me nuts.
The same eBay seller has a two/four minute Triumph repeater, which is what I am looking for but it’s 1200$. This seems really expensive. I am considering it though. Is that price totally insane? Thanks for any advice.

Can you raise the horn up more with the spring tensioner or do you have the early cygnet setup? If you can just raise the horn up a little you should be able to get it working. Might even put a different spring on it if it’s that type of setup.

I’ve tried almost everything. It works great with no horn attached though.
Any thoughts on the price of that Triumph repeater?

Seems a bit high to me but they aren't the easiest things to find.

I’m interested but it’s a ton of money! Can’t decide what to do….

If you can’t decide then don’t decide. Wait on it. If that makes any sense!

Might be a good bit less painful to find a triumph with repeater already installed, too.

My thinking is if you already have a repeater on one machine, why another?
