With collecting, patience is part of the game. When The Emerson Phonograph Company under new ownership added the first in America Phonograph/Radio (battery set) ---they offered two models. Well, It arrive ----a Federal Model 140 radio panel, will now just about complete one of those models. I am still looking for that elusive internal horn table model. The enjoyment of completing a machine is a great part of the hobby.

That's pretty exciting! Have you got pictures?
I know that Victor Victrola consoles with the S- designation on the data plate, like VV-S-215, would be fitted with a removable battery radio panel, but I did not know that Emerson offered this. However, Emerson did use the Music Master horn, and Music Master wood horns are also found on battery radio speakers--sounds like the company tried hard to stay relevant until the cone loudspeaker finally did kill the horn business.
If you are going to try to get the Federal radio working, I think there is a little device called the ARBE (Antique Radio Battery Eliminator) that gets rid of the need for A, B, and C type dry-cell batteries as they are getting hard to find or are made out of a lot of flashlight/transistor batteries.
