Never saw one of these before. Interesting set up with the horn opening under the lid next to the turntable. Love the record storage, but get the feeling that it's a lot of cabinet, and not a lot of sound.

I ran across this listing, also. I like the "Virginia" connection - they were a well known Richmond business that made quality furniture, colonial reproduction furniture if remember correctly. I would love to find one in original condition one day [meaning, original patina, minus the stripping/refinishing job....]

This appears to be a case of sound quality being sacrificed to record storage. The horn cannot be very large and the sound can only be heard with the lid open, so hiss and needle chatter will detract from it.
I also note that most of the internal fittings appear to be gold plated but that the tonearm is not, so it is probably a replacement.
Good luck trying to get $900 for it.

I'm not sure it's gold plated but it might just be a trick of the light? If you look at the lid stay that also appears to be nickel. I think it has original hardware, but the photos do not accurately reflect (no pun intended) what it is due to poor lighting.
I've seen machines online that appear to be fully gold plated but are only nickel in reality.
