This is one of the hotter Hylton sides. I've also been experimenting with my recording technigues. My new graphic equaliser and ClickRepair works wonders on this side!

The new process is great. They sound really good. A grphic equaliser is an invaluable investment.

Nice sound, but there is a bit of fuzz in the trumpets, caused by the program identifying transients as clicks. Something I learned was that when you reverse the file before de-clicking you can get far better results. With today's computers that is very easy to do and you may be amazed about the difference. A friend of mine had a very rare record with an enormous scratch and couldn't get rid of it. The main pop disappeared, but the 'echo' of it stayed. Reversing the number and then applying the de-click filter completely solved the problem. The program recognised the small pop of the echo and the big click, removing them both, resulting in a very smooth sounding record.

By reversing do you mean so that it is played backwards. I would be interested in giving it a try. De click is all very well but it does take away more than just the clicks in my opinion.
