Hopefully next year I will be able to attend the show. I can't ever seem to make it with college stuff going on... and now back to working fun time.

Looks like a lot of fun!

I hope to be able to after I retire. If I can hitch a ride with Jerry and Stan they will be hating me before we get out of Oregon, most likely. :D
I'll probably just go for the records, though. Annette is already warming up the rolling pin and frying pan in anticipation of Jerry B's delivery from the show this year, so I better cool it on huge machines!

Do people bring things to the show to simply show them off? Or do you bring to sell only?

Following..... As a proud owner of some pretty common machines, I probably would not be bring any of mine to sell. But, the fellowship and networking looks fun!

David,

It's sale more than a "show".

I'm not aware of people bringing things only for "show," but I suppose it has happened on rare occasions.

Stan,

Happy Birthday, it's great to see a fellow like you get younger every year! I could swear you told me you were 82 last year. But in any event, you look fantastic!

And on another subject, I distinctly remember at least one exhibit, several years running, at Union and Orlando, of exceptional machines definitely only for "show". I will decline to mention the exhibitor, but am certain he was 100% serious about his machines being "Not for Sale".

Also, my humble booth, with three tables, including four Operas, a nickel-plated Triumph, a Triumph with wood horn and repeater, and a mahogany Hexaphone, was at the far right-hand wall, but must have been out of camera range.
