Hey everyone,
Anyone got a spare grill for a H-19? It is for a customer that would prefer an original over a reproduction. But if no one has one I will get from from Gramps.
Thanks,
David

This one from Decorators Supply is the original molded grill made by the original company:

I repaired a shattered one by putting the pieces together like a puzzle and gluing them to a heavy duty file folder for a base. Then I cut out the openings with an X-Acto knife and stained it all. It turned out fine, but I had all of the pieces...

Ok so still looking for a grill. Gramps is not currently making them... and to order one from that website isn't going to work because it would have to be custom made and he doesn't want to spend the extra money to meet the minimum order requirement to do so.
SO back to the search. Anyone got one laying around?
David

If you have all or most of the pieces, try laying them out on a table top to see what it looks like. If it appears to be complete, then glue them to a piece of thin, stiff cardboard. Cut out the open spaces and fill in any missing spots/pieces with epoxy putty. Paint the grill with lacquer toner and it should be good...
Otherwise, get a generic looking grill from gramps.
Or, enlarge this pic to the correct size for a pattern and cut it out of oak plywood... or 3D print it...
