What can anyone tell me about this model of Brunswick machine, perhaps assembled/built by Heintzman in Toronto?

Approximate age?

Quality of build and sound (when in good condition)?

This seems to be a Brunswick 207 which came out around 1917 and is made of oak. These things have a double ultona reproducer so that you can play Edison Diamond Discs and Brunswick laterals. These things seem to have had average Columbia machine audio quality when they were new.

But, the one shown does not have the double reproducer.

I guess I got it wrong, they do look very similar though.

Judging by the nickel plating, single reproducer and the plain cabinet style it is of the lower line. From my experience Brunswicks play really nice. My Brunswick 120 is one of the nicest playing machines I have. I would say early to mid 1920's
