Here is an interesting VTLA. Condition looks very nice but it has a Victor V ID tag? Wonder how that got there.
Very strange. It is only $22 right now..

Pardon my ignorance, but these models did not sport the "Victor Victrola" decal in the lid? Or, perhaps that was a later addition?

If you can get the auctioneer to take a picture of the paper label behind the horn, it should have the serial number written on it. It is odd that there is no lid decal, maybe it is a really early machine, or something happened to the lid early on. Something must have happened along the way for it to lose the ID tag it started out with. It's a nice looking machine.

I was runner up bidder on this one. I didn't think I wanted it and changed my mind. It certainly is an interesting piece at a good price. Maybe I have too many machines and too much else to get done. Anyone here the high bidder??

I was a bidder, just not the winning bidder.
