Oak Victrola VV-VI with Matching Lundstrom Cabinet --SOLD

I'm trying to sell this pristine VV-VI/Lundstrom cabinet set-up. These appear to have been together since new, as they match up perfectly... as you probably know, the Lundstrom cabinets basically fully housed the tabletop machine to give it the appearance of a more expensive floor model. The exhibition reproducer and the motor have been rebuilt, everything functions perfectly... this really is a phenomenal example of this sort of set-up. I'm only asking what I paid for this one a few years ago, just want the money and floor space back... it's on ebay now with a $395 buy it now, but I'll take $375. I can deliver this to the phonograph show in Wayne, NJ, in early April, or it can be picked up at my apartment in the Victor building just outside center city Philadelphia. Send me a message or email if interested, brianu73 at hotmail.

Just a quick comment on this: when I first glanced at it I thought, oh he's wrong, that's not a Victor-it's a Grafonola! How ironic that it resembles a Columbia K-2 to these weary eyes

It's times like this I wish I lived in USA. It's the ultimate VV-VI accessory!
I dont think they sold anything like this here in Australia, and I cant say I've seen the likes of this offered for HMV's in England either. You'd pay a couple hundred dollars over here for a boring old table to put a VI on, and you'd have not record storage.
With the 4 doors basically forming a 4 sided horn extention, I would imagine there would be at least some improvement in sound quality?
It's a neat little combination & in great condition.

Would you be able to deliver it to Albany, NY?

thanks... I think it's a pretty unique set-up as well, but I'm figuring maybe there's minimal interest despite the price because it's still just a standard VV-VI, even if it comes with a novel cabinet? at this point, I'd usually say I'd just keep it, but one of the new year's resolutions - which I'm actually trying to stick to this year - was to greatly minimize the phonograph collection, hopefully by half... I'm getting there, but it's made for some hard choices (recently let go a victor MS and a IV with a speartip horn).

probably not, but I can bring it to the wayne NJ show in april. perhaps you could find someone from the NY state area who may be going and won't mind picking it up for you. it's pretty light and actually doesn't take up much space.

Yeah, I think there's some guy named Orthosean who might be going that way...

Yes, I'm going to be at the Wayne show. I'd be happy to pick this up for you if you'd like, Gary.
