Edison No 90 orophone adapter fix

Hello folks!
I just got this new Edison S19 phonograph from an estate sale for $40. Really good condition except one thing. A piece on the 78 adapter broke off. It helps hold the reproducer and the arm together. I tried to use JB weld and superglue, but neither of them worked.
Are there any other methods that I could try? I was thinking soldering the piece, but I wanted to ask what the best way to go about that would be. Are there any replacement pieces I could get? Maybe I could get one of PVC. Right now, it doesn’t matter if it is all original pieces. As long as it works.

The text on the back of the reproducer says “No. 90 Military Oro-phone, The Oro-tone Co, Chicago USA.” I’ve got some pictures down below. If there are any methods y’all know of, please let me know! Thanks!

If the ring is made of pot metal, as it looks, do not try soldering, it will melt away the pot metal and ruin the ring. And if it is indeed pot metal, probably its dimensions are distorted and it may not give the required play that the interface needs to properly work. I had relative success using super glue, but only to keep together surfaces that are not subject to high mechanical load.

I tried super glue, but it made the ring too big. I couldn’t tighten it in the arm. I would try to get a similar piece from the hardware store (if they had it) but I can’t get the reproducer head off.
It is made of pot metal. Soldering would ruin it. Could PVC work? I just need some brainstormed ideas from y’all! I don’t want to buy another reproducer adapter cause I already need to fix the actual diamond disc reproducer.
