Edison Reproducer Guide

For years, "Cylinder Reproducers, a primer for the novice collector" -- an invaluable resource for those just starting out in the hobby -- was hosted on the Edison Shop website. Unfortunately, that site no longer exists.

Fortunately, the page still exists on the Internet Archive site, with all of the photos, intact; but for how much longer is anyone's guess.

For those who haven't seen it, here's the archived version:

(David, would it be possible to "host" this page on this forum? I'm not sure what permissions, if any, would be needed.)

Thank you so much for sharing this archive. I didn't realize there were so many variations of the Edison reproducer.

I've referred to the Edison Shop reproducer guide from time to time over the years, and I have found it very useful. :)

One of the problems with hobby websites is that the valuable reference information they contain can disappear when for example, the site owner gets busy, loses interest or leaves the hobby altogether. :(

The hobby websites are not permanent and often come and go after a few short years. At least with a book, I usually have some control over its destiny.
