This HMV tabletop machine looks decidedly suspect to my inexperienced eyes. Poor quality wood and woodwork and finishing. Poor quality metal work.

Am I wrong in my suspicions?

Steep price tag at $950 Canadian.

It's just one of those crappy repro's from India, I contacted the seller and told him so.
