Can anyone tell me which model of gramophone this is and date it? I can't find a picture of one that is exactly the same - if the case looks the same, the winding handle is set forward of the lid release button, or the speed control and brake are in different places or different designs e.g. this one: https://www.bonhams.com/auction/19799/l ... y-version/ The design of the speed control and brake suggest to me a later model but I don't know. It is mahogany and with a double-spring motor. The only other thing I can tell you is that the handle is a replacement, as the original was missing when I found the machine.

Looks like a Model 2 to me. I have one of these with a single spring motor, but Proudfoot's book mentions that two spring motors were also utilized in this same machine during WWI.

Thanks Carlos, is your crank fore or aft the lid release button, like on mine?

Mine is at the fore side of the button, but as I mentioned, the motor on mine is a single spring, so yours with a double spring may also have a redesigned crank position.
