I have the Edison oil bottle that (I think) came with it originally, still has oil.
The player has been in family since new.
Are these rare or common?
Did it originally say, "Almond Oil"? I can't figure out what it said.

Hi There, I have a few of these early oil bottles as well that came with my Edison phonographs. The word on the label you were wondering about is "Diamond". Kind Regards,

I wouldn't say your oil bottle is rare but it is a nice accessory items to go with your Amberola. I see them at the phono shows and the price ranges from $25 to $40. Jerry B.

Thanks for the info guys.
I was trying to think of what you could get oil out of, and almonds came to mind, never thought of diamonds.
But I should have made the connection of diamond and Edison.
