For $275, my only question is "what's the catch?" That's definitely the lowest price I've ever seen on a VV-XVII. Maybe the motor doesn't work, or it was refinished.
The cabinet looks to be in good condition too (from the pic provided.) I'd take a chance on it, but I simply don't have the space, lol.

There probably is no catch. Prices have been falling for a while.
